when i run adaware, i get a critical problem with the label "windows." here is the description from the registry that adaware gives me… HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT "regfile\shell\open\command""("regedit.exe""%1"). I also get a pop up from norton everytime i run adaware saying that Trojan.ByteVerify has been detected and deleted. However, the "windows" problem and the norton pop up come up everytime i run adaware, even though both have been "deleted." As far as i can tell, nothing is wrong with my computer. I just don't want further problems to arise from these. Is it worth posting a HJT log?
Here is a HJT log just incase…do i need to switch from my limited windows xp account to a general account?
