My computer keeps telling me I have spyware/mal ware or ad ware and I have tried, the different scans to get it off. It seems to be more of a virus to me. Here is my log. Is there anything on there that will help me fix the problem.

I see you already have AVG Anti-Spyware installed, so you can skip the installation of that.

When finished, post a new HijackThis! log into this thread.

I down loaded the smith fraud, when I click on the smithfraudfix.cmd, I get a window that says process exe.file missing, press any key and after I press a key nothing happens.

They're all there… :scratch: Erase the Smithfraud folder, redownload it (to your desktop), unzip it there (to the desktop), and try the entire fix again. :) :thumbup:

CLOSE ALL WINDOWS (even this one) AND PROGRAMS!!!!

Run Hijack This!
Click "Do a systen scan only".
Then "check" the box to the left of these item(s):
