I am having problems with my laptop. The main problem at the moment is windows popping up and stealing the focus. I changed browsers from IE to Firefox but it is just as bad. It is also running slower than it should.

Here is my HijackThis log and hope you can help me.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum :wavey:

Download combofix.exe from the link below:

Combofix.exe

Save it to your desktop.

CLOSE ALL WINDOWS (even this one) AND PROGRAMS!!!!

Run combofix.

When finished, it will produce a log for you.

Post that log in your next reply, along with a new HijackThis! log.
:)

Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall
Hi there again:) thanks for the help, I downloaded combofix. I did as you suggested I closed everything down but when I ran combofix it showed me a red Circle with an X and just a black dos screen popped up and vanished, was it meant to do that? thanks again
