Not seeing anything bad in your log, but lets try a scan.

Please go HERE and do a online scan.
Let me know what is found.

After scan, reboot and post a new HijackThis log

Also let me know how the computer is running now.
here are the results of the scan.. the cleaning process stopped at 806 when there were 808. It said that there were some 1900+ viruses and 3 or 4 malware, that could not be cleaned, i left it to try for a few hours. Scanned: Files: 27245 System: 5983 Not scanned: 5 Actions: Disinfected: 1 Renamed: 804 Deleted: 0 None: 3 Submitted: 1 Files not scanned: C:\HIBERFIL.SYS C:\PAGEFILE.SYS C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\DEFAULT C:\WINDOWS\SOFTWAREDISTRIBUTION\EVENTCACHE\{FB121FD0-D3B9-4435-AC3C-68DA7E064168}.BIN C:\PROGRAM FILES\COMMON FILES\SYMANTEC SHARED\CCPD-LC\SYMLCRST.DLL The internet is still running realllllly slow and my music skips everytime i do anything at all. It has never skipped when the music was on my computer no matter what i was doing. what could cause this? I dont know too much about computers, but I believe that I have a fairly decent processor, a P4, and i think 512 Mb Ram. Doesnt the Ram effect alot of how quickly your computer acts? It says I still have 384 or so last time i checked. I will reboot and post another log and let you know how it's doing. Thank you
well it finished this time, here are the results: Scanned: Files: 26469 System: 5945 Not scanned: 4 Actions: Disinfected: 1 Renamed: 0 Deleted: 0 None: 0 Submitted: 0 Files not scanned: C:\HIBERFIL.SYS C:\PAGEFILE.SYS C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\DEFAULT C:\PROGRAM FILES\COMMON FILES\SYMANTEC SHARED\CCPD-LC\SYMLCRST.DLL
I rebooted, heres the new log. Also the internet is still running really slow. I realized a few things, lately the fan in my computer has been running on high more than usual. The battery is shot to my knowledge, because if its unplugged from the wall for more than 20 seconds or so, it just shuts off. Didnt know if any of this has to do with the slowness and skipping of music.

Important: Do this before any fix.

Please put your HijackThis in it's own folder, (I create a new folder in C:\ named HJT).
You can do a Right Click on any open area on the desktop, New> Folder, then rename the folder HJT.

Go to where your HijackThis is and Right Click on HijackThis.exe, select Cut, then open the new folder you just created (HJT) Right Click in the folder and select paste.

The reason we do this is Hijackthis creates backup files just in case you'd need to restore one and we'll be cleaning out the temp files.

After the above:
I suggest you do this:

You need to update SunJava.
Updating Java:
Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 9.
  • Scroll down to where it says "The J2SE Runtime Environment (JRE) allows end-users to run Java applications".
  • Click the "Download" button to the right.
  • Check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement".
  • Click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation with or without Multi-language and save to your desktop.
  • Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
  • Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java.
  • Check any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name. It should have the [external image: Posted Image] icon next to it.
  • Click the Remove or Change/Remove button.
  • Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each Java versions.
  • Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
  • Then from your desktop double-click on jre-1_5_0_09-windowsi586-p.exe to install the newest version.

Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.

lets see if this will help speed it up.

Backup your Registry…
- Press "CTRL - ALT - DEL" keys all at the same time to start "Task Manager"
- In the Task Manager window click on "File", then from the drop-down menu select "New Task (Run…)"
- In the "Create New Task" window enter\type "regedit" (without quotes)
- Once Regedit opens click on the FILE menu and select Export
- Save the file as backup. Save the file somewhere you will remember and not delete.
IMPORTANT: make sure to set the export range to ALL

I recommend you download RegSeeker. Extract it to it's own folder, open and double click RegSeeker.exe to start the program. Maximize the window and click clean registry. Check all sections and click OK. When the scan is complete, verify the backup box in lower left corner is checked and click the select all button, then select all again. Then right click within the search results and select delete. Run it again and again, deleting everything it finds until it finds nothing. Reboot and make sure your programs are working properly, control panel and add/remove programs windows open, etc (basically just do a quick check of everything). In the event anything was 'broken', you can open RegSeeker, click backups and double click any/all files to put the information back. A reboot may be required for the effects to be seen. Reboot When done.

NOTE: To be extra safe you can choose to only remove the items in RED.
