Hi Guys,

My PC has been clean for so long since you guys helped me out last time but I must've let my guard down :( I'm getting pop ups now inviting me to do a spyware scan which looks a lot like an authentic Windows dialog box. I've run Vundo.exe and it did find a file but hasn't fixed the problem. Here's my HJT log…

Run Hijack This!
Click "Do a systen scan only".
Then "check" the box to the left of these item(s):

Micah, So far so good. The annoying pop ups would have surfaced by now so I'd say you've done it again, thank you. I've upgraded ie-spyad2 so hopefully that will help prevent a reoccurrence. My laptop has been inconsistent with the time it takes to load the desktop. Sometimes it takes up to a few minutes but always does in the end. Do you think it's a related issue? Rgds, Don

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
Download - ATF Cleaner»
This program is for XP and Windows 2000 only
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

This will clean "temp" files, and maybe help.

The PC will boot a litlle slower for the first 2 or 3 times after running ATF Cleaner.

This is normal.
