yes, norton is still finding the virus and no i cant use task manager, it says its 'been disabled by your administrator' anything else i can do? Thanks.
Copy and paste the contents of the quote box below into notepad.

Save it as file name: "fixme.reg" (not including the quotes). Save as file type: *All files* and save it on your Desktop.

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
"DisableTaskMgr"=-

Then, locate fixme.reg on your desktop and it.

You will receive a prompt similar to: "Do you wish to merge the information into the registry?".

Answer 'Yes' and wait for a message to appear similar to "Merged Successfully".

Reboot.

The task manager should be accessible now.

Where is Norton finding the virus (I need a "full path name", like "C:\Windows\Virus.exe")?
:unsure:
sorry for the delay. Task Manager works now, and Norton hasn't found the virus since I turned on the computer today. So does that mean its gone? should i scan with SpyBot and AdAware again? Thanks so much for your help. Do you know of any damage that this virus causes? Thanks again. You are a hero. :D Brendon.
Thank you for choosing TomCoyote for your malware removal solutions.
