I tried to use Hijack this! to remove
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ImInstaller_IncrediMail] C:\Documents and Settings\Connie\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\VVPHXHH2\incredimail_install[1].exe -startup -product IncrediMail

I even tried running it in safe mode, but it just won't delete the key.
I have tried regedit and I can't find this registry key using regedit.
I have also tried deleting ALL the Temporary Internet Files,
but STILL every time I reboot I get the error message that Windows is trying to run Incredimail and it's driver is unsigned or unfit for windows XP or something like that.

Here is my log file. Please someone tell me how to delete this persistent registry key.

Welcome to the forum :wavey:

We need to disable your Microsoft AntiSpyware Real-time Protection as it may interfere with the fixes that we need to make.
  • Open Microsoft AntiSpyware.
  • Click on Options, Settings.
  • In the left pane, click on Real-time Protection.
  • Under Startup Options uncheck Enable the Microsoft AntiSpyware Security Agents on startup (recommended).
  • Under Real-time spyware threat protection uncheck Enable real-time spyware threat protection (recommended).
  • After you uncheck these, click on the Save button and close Microsoft AntiSpyware.
  • Right click on the Microsoft AntiSpyware icon on the taskbar and select Shutdown Microsoft AntiSpyware.
After all of the fixes are complete it is very important that you enable Real-time Protection again.

Copy and paste the contents of the quote box below into notepad.

Save it as file name: "fixme.reg" (not including the quotes). Save as file type: *All files* and save it on your Desktop.

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
"ImInstaller_IncrediMail"=-

Then, locate fixme.reg on your desktop and it.

You will receive a prompt similar to: "Do you wish to merge the information into the registry?".

Answer 'Yes' and wait for a message to appear similar to "Merged Successfully".

Reboot.

Things OK now?
