Dear Sir, I recently upgraded my Windows XP Professional version 2002 SP2 with Windows 2006 Advanced Security Enhanced. The installation was successful but i found out that there's some problem with the firewall and cannot be displayed and activated. Also, it is showing the error messages below; "windows firewall setting cannot be displayed because the associated service is not running. do you want to start the windows firewall/internet connection sharing (ics) service?" when i click yes, i get this messege: "windows cannot start the firewall/internet connection sharing (ics) service." When i try to start the service manualy this message appears: could not start the windows firewall/internet connection sharing (ics) service on local computer. "Error 1075: The dependency does not exist or has been marked for deletion" I am running on Pentium 4 and 240MB ram. Kindly help me to reinstall and enable my firewall. Hoping for your early reply.
