1. I did spybot and adaware plus scanned with Symantec Norton cleaned out stuff it found but Internet explorer is still opening at this page http://www.syssecuritypage.net/ with a popup saying warning W32 Fyzor is a virus that effects exe file etc etc, even though I changed it to google.com (did it remove all the smitfraud instances???)

This syssecuritypage.net states that Quote

"Attention! Your system is currently vulnerable to computer attacks. Remote intruders can gain access to following files and folders on your PC:

This program will scan large amounts of files on your computer for known patterns so please be patient while it works. When it is done, the results of the scan will be displayed and it will create a log named rapport.txt in the root of your drive, eg: Local Disk C: or partition where your operating system is installed. Please post that log along with all others requested in your next reply.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other options until you are asked to do so!

Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.

Please post:
C:\rapport.txt
Thanks think its gone, I am getting occasional message popups from internet explorer saying if you are not protected from viruses, or have not scanned… and it keeps on opening those antivirus download pages (I was just forwarded to winantivirus pro and http://www.pcsecurityshield.com/webApp/90046np.asp a minute ago??. You know what it may be from. Heres my updated log

Hello flakeup,

Please do the following:

STEP 1.
======
I would like to see report to check some files. This is for a Look2me infection but the information is valuable for other things.
Download L2mfix from one of these two locations:

http://www.atribune.org/downloads/l2mfix.exe
http://www.downloads.subratam.org/l2mfix.exe

You may receive pop-up asking if you will allow script to run when you perform the following instructions. Please allow the script to run.

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

If you receive, while running option #1, an error similar like: ''C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe
C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt the system file is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications. choose close to terminate the application.."…then please use option 5 or the web page link in the l2mfix folder to solve this error condition. do not run the fix portion without fixing this first.

C:\DOCUME~1\HAGITS~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\Rar$EX02.797\HijackThis.exe
I would like you to rename HijackThis.exe to Analyze.exe and please move it to a folder like C:\HJT so that is is not in a temporary folder.

Please run Analyze.exe and post the log along with the logs from the l2mfix.
