hey guys, have a bit of a problem here
When i use windows while in regular mode there a few things that are very odd.
1) I can not access any of the "properties" menu's because it says that it is a restricted account, even though i just got this computer and i setup my account to be a administrator
2) There is no desktop, my start bar and quick launch icons are still there, but there are no icons on the desktop and i cannot right click anywhere on the desktop
3) (the odd one) I am not able to shut down properly. where it normally says "log off" and "Turn computer off" in the start menu, there is nothing, just the "Log Off" option. And like the thing with the properties menus it says that function is not available because it is a restricted account.
These three problems plus a slew of pop-ups, but only in regular mode
I can use safe-mode with networking without a problem, that is how im typing this currently
I need help asap cause i need this computer for school which starts next week
here is my hijackthis log
