I've an annoying problem for at least 1 month: from the logs and messages of the firewall (Sygate) and of PhoenixLabs-Peerguardian I see that an application (.exe file) is trying to connect to a site (shiptrop.com) and to 296f8.ilxt.info …. They are blocked by either the firewall or Peerguardian.
Using firefox as a browser, I don't have any problem using internet, but with IExplorer it's not the same.
The program which wants to connect is not always the same; in general, it's identified as explorer.exe and it starts and is blocked by the firewall as soon as I open explorer file manager. Sometimes, the file can have another name such as ted1h.exe in the c:\windows\temp directory. Once terminated and cancelled the file in \..\temp dir, the file explorer.exe returns again.
Moreover, Outlook is not able to send e-mails and explorer "search" function doesn't work any more.
No program has been able to recognize it; I have tried with: AdawareSE (that I always use), spyboatS&D, Ewido, TrendMicro on-line scan, Avast (the antivirus installed on my PC), and other tools or utilities. Trying to scan in safe mode too.
So, I used Hijackthis in order to understand something, but I would like to have comments and suggestion from you. I copied its last log file below.
