Where do i start, we've always had problems with our PC especially when the children use it!! The PC has been into more computer shops than i have shoe shops. The current problem we have is pretty similar to all our past problems. The PC runs slow, most times when i try to connect to the internet it crashes before it has even connected, when the computer re-starts i have an error message come up to report the error to microsoft crash analysis, they don't have a solution except consider a bios update - i did this about a year ago with the assistance by email from our PC manufacturer, saved everything to disk, updated Bios and lost all data on the PC - not a problem as it was all saved to disk - but wouldn't reload onto the computer the files were corrupt!!! How could this be? So i would like to be able to fix the PC without losing all our business data. Also if i am lucky enough to actually connect to the internet it's either extremly slow (yes i am on dial up - but slower than usual) or crashes and won't even let me ctrl-alt-delete to end the running program. Please Please help i really don't want to have to take the PC into yet another shop for them to have it for weeks to only temporarily solve the problem and not even tell me what the problem is or how to prevent it, please please please.
