My son's computer has several annoying pop ups. The worst is one that looks like a winows popup that says "Your computer is infected - Windows has detected spy ware infection". It pops in and then it goes away - I would really like to go away permanantly though. Here is my scan log. Thank you in advance for any help you could give us.

Hi nashville_bill:

Please print, or copy and paste this text into a Notepad file and place it on your desktop, to review as you work. Please proceed with this fix in the order provided below.
Please Note: The following will not remove Smitfraud from your PC, but it is necessary to verify its presence, so it can be removed safely.

Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present). Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.

Caution: Running SmitfraudFix in option #2 on an uninfected machine will remove your desktop background.

Next:
Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs option. If found remove the program.SearchNugget Toolbar

Optional - MyWay Search Bar Variants If this Browsing Object was installed by some 3rd Party Software. DELL is installing it by default on all new computers.
