I've been trying to get rid of this nasty bugger for a while, I even restored to about two weeks ago in an attempt, but it was to no avail. Here's my newest HJT log, forgive me I'm new at this HJT stuff.

I checked it over and didn't see anything out of the ordinary except htat winlogon (which I must admit I don't know if that's normal), so…any ideas? Thanks in advance for all your help.

You are running HJT from an unsafe location. An easy way to correct this is to do the following:

Download a copy of HJTsetup.exe from here and save it to your Desktop.
  • Double click HJTsetup.exe to begin installation.
  • By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Hijack This.
  • Continue to click Next in the setup dialogue boxes until you get to the Select Addition Tasks dialogue.
  • Put a check by Create a desktop icon then click Next again.
  • Continue to follow the prompts from there.
  • At the final dialogue box uncheck the box to the left of "Launch Hijackthis" and then click Finish
Next rename your copy of hijackthis.exe to search.exe and post a fresh log. It's possible that this nasty is interfering with the normal working of HJT in order to hide itself and renaming the .exe will get around this.

Also run HJT:
  • Click Open the Misc Tools section.
  • Click Open Uninstall Manager…
  • Click Save list… and save it to your Desktop.
  • Copy and paste the file uninstall_list.txt into your next reply.
