Bloodhound.NsAnti

Norton Antivirus keeps notifying me that I have this virus. The total number of notifications keeps rising. When I close the notification window, it pops up again right away and starts counting up again. It says the Virus name is Bloodhound.NsAnti and the File is C:\WINNT\system32/svcKey.DLL Clean failed, Quarantine failed, Access Denied.

I've manged to delete the file in Safe Mode but when I return to regular mode the notifications start again. I've used Spybot, Adware and ewido. Here is the ewido report and then the Hijack report.

Hi LDTate,

I've had a couple of people look at my machine since my original post. I finally took it in and had it professionally cleaned. Virus was apparently removed, my data was saved and I purchased an upgrade to Windows XP Professional. I was told not to use Norton anymore. I installed AVG antivirus and it had found a couple of things…I obviously started to really worry since I spent $430 already…lol

I followed your instructions….ran Fsecure online check…it found a virus and some malware and it proceeded to clean my system…it reached a certain point and it just sat there….it didn't seem to be finishing but I didn't want to touch it. After two hours of waiting I finally clicked on the Cancel button. Once I did that the website told me the scan and dissenfection was complete!
