Hello mac79,

I wish that I could see the results from the Silent Runners log. Is it because of losing connections on dial-up that you cannot post it or do you think it is another problem?

STEP 1.
======
Regscan

Please download RegScan.
Within RegScan.zip you will find the file regscan.vbs
You may have to allow this script to run or disable anti-spyware again in order for it to run.
A window will open titled RegFinder.vbs and you will see place to input search terms.
Please enter the search terms:
AD689BF6-A10B-4E80-AD7C-31A0C8B83692
After the search has completed a window titled Results.txt will open.
Please copy the results and post(reply) back.

Hello mac79, I know you have been busy. Sorry about the fire and I hope things are going as best as can be expected. I have not been able to be of much help because I have asked for scans and you are having difficulty posting them. Would you by any chance be able to use another computer to post the scans? I would really like to see the results from the mwav. It is one scan left which does not require you to be online during the scanning. Susan

Your log shows no evidence of wareout. Please understand that it is difficult to help if you are unable to be on the internet long enough to download and run scans and post results. That is why I am asking if you may be able to use another computer to download tools, transfer it to your computer, use the tool, then transfer and post the results using another computer. Do you have access to another computer with a better internet connection?
Sorry this is all i got for now…they say they going to put high speed broodband in this area but it be sometime late fall or winter before we can get it.. i be in heaven what take's youall 1 to 2 min's it take's me a half of a day to download,,,,,yes i completely understand the problem's you having trying to help me… iam down to the point we might have to give up for now until i can get better service i think if i do download anything it's get's corupt before i can complete long time downloading..

I must have no luck whatsoever….worked fine for maybe 1 to1 1/2 hour's then right back where we was to begin with…..I try to stay off it until I can hear from you or a blame ant will beat this computer's speed down to the telephone switching station….Iam to the point where Iam about ready to clean everything off this thing and completely reboot this computer by recovery disc and switch ISP to a other company and see if that help's…Susan I sure know you not to blame you been very helpfull to me But Iam to the point I can't use this computer hardly Iam paying monthly ISP bill, I got every safety product I can think of to protect it and still can't use it…Hey!!! This a idea I did have E-trust virus , spyware the whole package and it got where it was blocking so much I couldn't get on the internet hardly.. And my ISP made me take it off saying it was caused my problem not working with there system and told me to put on this free avast system on this computer and about 2 to 3 month's later I started having this problem.. Is it possiable this nasty little thing is working by there system and infection my system and maybe they too proud to tell us they have a problem that they can't fix????? I don't know anybody around here got this ISP server or i ask them..But I was thinking something had to cause that E-trust system to start blocking everything like it did because I didn't increase nothing on it then about in a period of 2 to 3 week's It just about locked my computer down to protect it from something???? a Idea of maybe the problem anyway..
While I still got a little speed on this computer I tryed again to get you a MWAV download and scan but all i could get it on the download was 32kb out of 10MB and it just stoped in it's track's would not download no more..
