Help! I messed up S&D Spybot on my PC

I added a Lexmark 3 in 1 printer to my pc and Spybot kept popping up the alerts everytime I printed because I opted to join some tracker thing they had. Anyway, I tried to fix it in S&D and I did something else. I don't get the alerts anymore, but now I am getting a ton of pop ups and stuff that I did not get before. I do not remember what all I changed in Spybot. Can anyone help me put it back to the settings I had and not get an alert everytime I print? Thanks in advance for your help!

Easiest way to get back to the way you want it……… Uninstall the "tracker thing" from Lexmark. Uninstall and freshly install the current version of Spybot S&D, and update its .dat file. Best Regards

Thanks! I'll try it. However, going forward, if there is something like the Printer thing that I want to allow, what is the best way to make S&D allow it?

The default configuration of Spybot S&D should not interfere with any legitimate program/software. You may have been using some of the Advanced utility settings of Spybot. Those features are excellent, and reliable, but you may need to study up on using them before putting them into play. And, if you have difficulty remembering settings that you change, consider writing them down on a separate piece of paper, so you can reverse/change them if necessary.
