The system seens to be okay but the startup srcipt is still very slow. Can you recommend any other ideas to why the computer runs very slow when it startup?

Go to:
Start --> Run
In the box type in cleanmgr then hit <enter> (or click OK)
Place a check beside these items ONLY:
Temporary Internet Files
Recycle Bin
Temporary Files
Click "OK" then "Yes"
Another way to help free up resources is to navigate to this folder:
C:\WINDOWS\prefetch <-- folder
Then, delete all the files in that folder.
DO NOT DELETE THE FOLDER!!
Just delete all the files in the folder.
Read about it here:
Windows prefetch
Defrag the hard drive via:
Start --> All programs --> Accessories --> System Tools --> Disk Defragmenter
See if that improves things.
Start --> Run
