Welcome to the forum :wavey:

You have a "Wareout" infection… But we need to address a more important infection first:

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [OEM32 Tools] sres32.exe

WORM_SPYBOT.GJ

That nasty bug is a "keylogger", and a data stealer.

Cease all financial transactions until we get it removed as it can steal your account/PIN numbers and passwords you use to access your bank account, credit cards, etc.

If you have used the machine for financial transactions, you may want to contact those institutions after we get it removed to change your passwords/PIN numbers to protect your accounts, and assets.

That being said… Lets's begin:

CLOSE ALL WINDOWS (even this one) AND PROGRAMS!!!!
Run Hijack This!
Click "Do a systen scan only".
Then "check" the box to the left of these item(s):

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [OEM32 Tools] sres32.exe

Then click "Fix checked".

Reboot in "safe" mode.

Find and delete:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\sres32.exe <— file

Some malware files may be "hidden".
Be sure to show hidden files when looking for these file(s) and/or folder(s).

Reboot in normal mode and "copy/paste" a new HijackThis! log file into this thread.
:)
Thanks for your help!
Now onto that wareout!!!

Thanks so much for all your help in this!
Delete this file:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CSASN.EXE

Copy and paste the contents of the quote box below into notepad.

Save it as file name: "fixme.reg" (not including the quotes). Save as file type: *All files* and save it on your Desktop.

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Ole]
"EnableDCOM"="Y"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa]
"restrictanonymous"=dword:00000000

Then, locate fixme.reg on your desktop and it.

You will receive a prompt similar to: "Do you wish to merge the information into the registry?".

Answer 'Yes' and wait for a message to appear similar to "Merged Successfully".

Reboot, and you're "good to go".

Thank you for using the forum.
