I'm unable to prevent safetydefender.com from becoming my home page every time i open the browser. Ewido brought up something called logger.banbra.fu. Anyone got any ideas on how i might remedy this infestation?
Have you had any pop ups saying your computer is infected?

There are a few things you can do to prepare for a HJT log…….The most complete way to rid this infection will take expert help in that forum…..
1.) Download and install the newest version of Java..Java Runtime Environment Version 5.0 Update 6
Go to the control panel in add remove programs and delete previous versions of Java….
Yea I ran AVG and it detected a trojan horse downloader.zlob.ya… I downloaded hijack this but haven't used it as I'm not fully conversant with it. Should I merely run HJT and post the log in the necessary forum?
