Hi everyone,

last couple of days I've had a couple of problems with pop-ups (a.o. errorsafe, ilead). I've cleaned my computer with spybot and ad-aware. I also used fixit utilities and regcleaner to clean my registry. After that I used Hijackthis to create a log for me. Seems to me that over 50 running processes is a lot. Are there any things that i should delete?

Tnx Mr. Charlie. Four words I like to hear (your log looks clean) :D I'll shoot to kill messenger soon, but haven't any problems yet so i'm hopefull that the problems have been solved by me following the previously posted directions. Tnx to all who contributed to that. robbert

Uncheck "Cookies" under "Internet Explorer".

ATF Cleaner - hit "select all" (uncheck cookies is optional - leave it checked if you want to delete all cookies) then just uncheck "cookies" then "empty selected" That will clear out all the temp files on the system.

Don't open e-mail attachments without first scanning them with an up-to-date
anti virus program, even after doing that I would be very careful. Don't click on any executables in e-mails or any other links that you're not sure of.
Watch your surfing habits, don't click on or download anything you're not sure of. Don't install a program that hasn't been recommended by a reputable organization.
