Hi-I've tried several malware removers:AdAware, Spybot, Spyware Doctor, ScanSpyware, Ewido, Trendmicro and various registry cleaners, and while they all find something and clean up, I still have occasional popups. In particular, it seems something called click2begin is still resident on my pc. At this point I'll try HijackThis! Below is my log. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

OK, followed these instructions and the pc still seems to be running fine with no popups. The current log is attached--I was wondering if perhaps the 'mainsafe.exe' might be a problem and should also be removed? hi RAJMAN,

good, no popups.

perhaps the 'mainsafe.exe' might be a problem and should also be removed

could be, you can make sure its disabled like this:

go to start>run and type in--> services.msc <--in the list of services that comes up look for>>MainSafe Service

right click on it and select properties. under the general tab:
make sure that the service status is: Stopped
and the Startup type is: disabled

you can use hjt to delete it:
start hjt, click on open misc tools section, click delete a NT service and type in the window:
C:\WINNT\system32\mainsafe.exe

The NT Service removal tool says the service is not found in the registry. In the services.msc, under properties, the path to executable is 'C:\winnt\system32\mainsafe.exe c:\winnt\system32\mainsafe.empty.ini'. I don't see a mainsafe.exe in the system32 directory when I browse to it (show hidden files set on) but the ini file exists.
