I was scanning for ad-ware with a program called Ad-Aware SE, and it detected 4 items that are labelled "Possible Broswer Hijack Attempt", there is nothing on the ad aware website about this. I am asking here because one of them was found in a file that mcafee detected a trojan in about two months ago (Svchost.exe), the virus diappeared and i am wondering what the browser hijack attempt means and if this is because the virus is still there (although mcafee does not detect it). The browser hijack attempts were labled as "malware" (two of them) and "data miner" (the other 2). I deleted those files with Ad aware SE, and was instructed from the Mcafee board to use hijack this to make sure the problem(?) is gone. This is my hijack this log:
