I had a ton of trojans and adware in my computer. I finally got it clean (as far as I know) BUT since the many trendmicro scans and other scans I had to use finished, some deleting files in order to rid my computer of the little scumwagglers, I am now having trouble with restarting and rebooting my computer.
When I try to restart, I will get 2 error messages:
Lucallbackproxy cannot find
Symlesvc invalid page fault in Kernel32.dll
It will pop these up repeatedly and it will not restart so I am forced to hard boot the system.
Once I hard boot the system and it start to load, I get these error messages:
IPHLPAPI.DLL cannot find
ibm00001.exe cannot find
and the file box pops up showing it is searching for but cannot find:
qjdsregq.exe
nwinkrag.exe
My computer runs slower now so I am not sure if it is because of these files missing or having been damaged by yucky dudes and thus for deleted during online scanning/cleaning methods.
I run Windows 98. I have see Windows XP and am told that it has safety tools in it that will reinstate your comupter to pre-boogyman state, but I am curious….if the supporting DLL files that I need were on my Windows 98 disk, is there a way to reload them? And what are these exe files that my computer keeps searching for?
This is my work computer and would really appreciate any help you can give me in getting this thing back on track. Thank you so much.

Recommend you run and post a HJT over in the HJT Forum to get this cleaned up.
