Hey, let me thank everyone who helps out in advance with my problem…spyfalcon has infested my puter, and who knows what else is on here. Today I started getting popups when not online along with the spyfalcon icon in my taskbar, I have cable internet so I know that I am always connected. Also there are also other programs telling me I my puter is infected, none of which I have ever installed. Thanks again for any help you can provide.

Hello and welcome to TomCoyote forum. If you still need help, I will need you to follow these directions.

1) A major problem and one that leaves you less protected not more and may be the reason you are infected to start with is that you are running two antivirus programs at the same time. This is not a good policy. Start by removing one of those, AVG does have an uninstaller that usually works if you are paying for NAV, then update and run a complete system scan with the one you keep. Remove anything it locates and post for me the complete name and pathway of anything it can not remove.

2) You are running HJT.exe from a .zip file in a Temporary Directory. This is unsafe as we will have no backups. That is why you received this message when you used HJT: http://russelltexas.com/malware/images/unsafefolder.gif
Please use the information in the following link to place HJT in a permanent, safe folder, I prefer C:\HJT\HijackThis.exe. If you need additional instructions use these: http://russelltexas.com/malware/createhjtfolder.htm

3) TeaTimer will block most attempts to fix stuff, so turn it off while you do these repairs: http://russelltexas.com/malware/teatimer.htm Be careful being online without TeaTimers protection.

4) Follow these directions: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic43659.html Then post for me the C:\smitfiles.txt a new HijackThis log and the results of the PandaScan.

Thanks…pskelley
