Greetings, I am trying to register my copy of McAfee VirusScan, but I believe ActiveX is keeping the registration popup from displaying properly. The reason I think the problem is ActiveX is because when I reboot, I get this message after Windows 98 starts: Internet Explorer Script Error An error has occurred in the script on this page Line 283 Char 2 Error: ActiveX component can't create object: 'Scripting.Dictionary' Code: 0 URL: mcp://C:\PROGRA~1\MCAFEE.COM\AGENT\REGWIZUI.DLL::default.htm The problem is that when I begin to register, I get the registration dialog box with the McAfee title bar at top and lovely red logo wallpaper, but no "dialog", no fields to fill in or "Register Now" buttons to push. Since going through this magic popup window is the only way to get updates, I'm in a jam. Can anyone help me? Thanks!
