Hello,

I did get rid of the spyware but now my computer want let me go into the Command Prompt nor let me get rid of the restore points... Its simply not there, the restore tab and I manged to get back Regedit. For the Command Prompt it said [The Command Prompt has been disabled by your administrater] and for the System Restore it said [System Restore has been turned off by group policy. To turn on System Restore, contact your domain administrater] I am the administrater! lol And my windows firewall has been disabled so I had to get another firewall. I have Windows XP SP2. Heres my HijackThis log...

"WinLogon:Shell"

Lets see if anything else is hidding.

Download the trial version of Spy Sweeper from Here

Install it using the Standard Install option. (You will be asked for your e-mail address, it is safe to give it. If you receive alerts from your firewall, allow all activities for Spy Sweeper)

You will be prompted to check for updated definitions, please do so.
(This may take several minutes)

Click on Options > Sweep Options and check Sweep all Folders on Selected drives. Check Local Disc C. Under What to Sweep, check every box.

Click on Sweep and allow it to fully scan your system. If you are prompted to restart the computer, do so immediately. This is a necessary step to kill the infection!

When the sweep has finished, click Remove. Click Select All and then Next

From 'Results', select the Session Log tab. Click Save to File and save the log somewhere convenient.

Exit Spy Sweeper.

Empty Recycle Bin

Reboot and "copy/paste" a new HJT log as well as the Resullts from Spy Sweeper file into this thread.
Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.

Try updating WinPatrol. I think the older versions had a problem with "WinLogon:Shell".

Ok... I didnt need it. I was just trying to keep all (most of all) the bad things out of my computer, so I un-installed it. But its still running, I heard that win task pro will delete it but said that its a process that windows needs however its also been known to cover up virus's/trojans/worms if its not in the windows-->system32 folder. And mine is, is it still bad? And one other thing, everything else works in my task manager but 'performance' and 'networking' tabs, the lines arnt moving... Could this be cause the "winlogon.exe" isnt working or bad. Thanks Sry, to take so long.

Do a file search for winlogon.exe and list where they are found.
