This forum has always been a life saver for me and some of the computers I have been able to fix with the resident experts help.

Here is a new one. My bosses computer, (run by his daughters) with some serious issues. I caught 100+ items with AdAware SE, but there are some resident problems that aren't being fixed. Any Help would be appreciated...here's the log:

You have the Peper Trojan. It is a very stubborn infection which requires a specific tool to remove.

The tool which does not require Internet Access to Clean is:
1. Please Download PeperFix.exe,
2. Start the tool and click Find and Fix.
3. Reboot to finish removing what it found.
4. Run the tool a second time (again with an active internet connection).
5. Reboot to finish removing the entries.

Then post another log.

Thank you little eagle. When this posting seemed to slip through the cracks, we decided to carefully remove any personal files and did a "Format C:"!! Since we had the operating system and there wasn't anything on the computer that was critically needed, it became the most timely thing to do. The computer is now happily doing the internet with the FireFox browser, Spybot S&D Tea Timer protection, as well as a full blown TrendMicro PcCillin 2006 Internet Suite. I really appreciate your help, and downloaded the Peper Killer for good measure and future use. If I could ask, what is the identifying characteristic for Peper?
