and open source software load and get an error message before they close

when i try to load an open source program to use it …it systematicaly give me an error message….
ie:
"gnaural.exe has generated errors and be close by windows.
you will need to resart the program
an error log is being created."
an the viewer events is totally blank—no logs… what do i need to restorein the services to make work again?
