When I click on an item in a Google search list, instead of the expected URL, I get a business URL remotely related to the topic. THe text file generated by HighjackThis is as follows. What items do I need to delete to stop the problem?

hi

Download and Save Blacklight to your desktop:

Double-click blbeta.exe then accept the agreement, leave [X]scan through Windows Explorer checked, click > scan then > next

You'll see a list of all items found. There will also be a log on your desktop with the name fsbl.xxxxxxx.log (the xxxxxxx stand for numbers).

Copy and paste this log in your next reply. Don't choose the rename option yet! I want to see the log first, because legitimate items can also be present there, such as "wbemtest.exe"

hi

You may want to print out these instructions for reference, since you will have to restart your computer during the fix.

Please download FixWareout from one of these sites:
http://downloads.sub.../Fixwareout.exe
http://swandog46.gee.../Fixwareout.exe

Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, then make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish. The fix will begin; follow the prompts. You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so. Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.

When your system reboots, follow the prompts. Afterwards, HijackThis will launch. Please click Scan, and check the following items(if there):

R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {38D99B45-853B-C507-FC7D-562376D5162E} - WinInitDll.dll (file missing)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [fxredir] C:\WINDOWS\System32\fxredir.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [pizda] startman.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [driver64] qwe.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [dmwgg.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\dmwgg.exe

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [UnSpyPC] "C:\Program Files\UnSpyPC\UnSpyPC.exe"
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [progmen] jopplerg.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [startman] WTFCTF.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [FLKPT] mozilla-text.exe
O17 -HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{761EEB78-73EE-4C5A-94CB-B200D29E46AC}: NameServer = 85.255.115.19,85.255.112.122

If you see a new item that wasnt in your last log in your O4 lines in hijackthis, starting with dm... for exampl:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [dm***.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\dm***.exe (the *** stand for random letters)
or starting with hg***.exe for example:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [hg***.exe] C:\Windows\System32\hg***.exe
or starting with cs***.exe for example:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [cscyd.exe] cscyd.exe
Check it as well. If your not sure, leave it and only check the ones I asked you to check
===========================================================
Click Fix Checked. Close HijackThis, and click OK to proceed.

Finally, please post the contents of report.txt (it should open), along with a new HijackThis log.

Note:
If You have connection problems or those 017's ~ O17 - HKLM~ 85.255.116.103,85.255.112.198, return =>
Before doing this write down all the settings, Note that not all system/setups even have these settings, while some connection service's will require them.
In the windows control panel: If you are using Windows XP's Category View, select the Network and Internet Connections category otherwise double click on Network Connections. Then right click on your default connection, usually local area connection for cable and dsl, and left click on properties. Double-click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item and select the radio dial that says Obtain DNS servers automatically
Press OK twice to get out of the properties screen and reboot if it asks.
That option might not be available one some systems

hi

good work :)

looks clean

lets still do one more scan to make sure ther is nothing hidden:

Please do an online scan with Kaspersky WebScanner

Click on Kaspersky Online Scanner

You will be promted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.
  • The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
  • Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
  • Now click on Scan Settings
  • In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
    • Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
    Extended (if available otherwise Standard)
    • Scan Options:
    Scan Archives
    Scan Mail Bases
  • Click OK
  • Now under select a target to scan:Select My Computer
  • The program will start and scan your system.
  • The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
  • Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
    • Now click on the Save as Text button:
  • Save the file to your desktop.
  • Copy and paste that information in your next post.
