Hi guys, has anyone heard of a pest called "pokapoka#" (with some number at the end)? I scanned my computer with HJT and was able to delete all the entries except one. It kept coming back time after time so I formatted the hard drive and paste the image back on it. I even tried scanning with Ewido and didn't do any good, my question here is "What's the easiest way to eliminate this pest"? I think it's harder to clean than the 180 solutions! Hex

Hi Crow, I scanned it again and it's no longer there  (knock on wood), there's no point in posting the log, I thought I had it saved in one of the HJT Log folder but since I formatted the HD it's no longer there! What's the easiest way to remove pokapoka#, any idea? Also there's a number at the end, does that mean there's more than one version of this bug? Hex

pokapoka is a process associated with "EliteBar Adware" which is an advertising program by EliteBar.

Thanks Crow, if it ever comes back I'll let you know first, before I paste the log. I should've done that then but since I had the newly installed OS and nothing realy important on the HD, I thought I'd do it the easy way (my way)! Sorry about that, I know, that didn't help anyone! Hex
