Hi everybody, I'm unable to get any hits on my searches and have tried everything (quotes, spacing vs. dot separations, shorter phrases, etc.). I am looking for posts or other details regarding any of the following. These infections are described from a BitDefender scan: Virus Detected 2 Application.Adware.NewDotNet.Dropper 2 Application.Adware.NewDotNet.B.Dropper 8 Dropped:Application.Adware.NewDotNet.A 2 Trojan.Downloader.Small.DQ 8 Trojan.Dropper.Agent.ER 2 Trojan.Muldrop.A 8 Trojan.Dloader.HK Thanks in advance if affording any pointers, My best to all and happ-e-trails, uruuguru
1.) Uninstall New Dot Net then reboot, 2.) Run Hijackthis and post a log to the proper forums All computers and situations are different, nowadays more than ever you should not try to search for what others have done to fix thier computer as each situation is becoming more individual to each situation.
Terribly sorry for any inconvienance or improper posting, its just that NewDotNet doesn't show up anywhere on my OS (start>run>msconfig>services or startup) and yet while BitDefender lists it as infecting my OS, all of my other attempts at verifying NDN' as an infection on my OS all indicate NDN is not infecting or installed on my OS, ref. Bazooka', SpySweeper, SpyBot, SpyDoctor, Nortons NIS 2005 or Ewido.
