How to get rid of Winfixer? HELP

I seem to have gotten Winfixer somehow and can't get rid of it..Adaware will not finish when I start it....Plus now I'm getting Porn Pop-Ups. Does anyone out there know how to get rid of it??? I use AVG for Virus protection and I used Hijack this, but it doesn't seem to help. Thanks in advance, nonnie
