Hi, you recently helped me through an infection of spyaxe and since then I've been a little bit paranoid about trojans and spyware. I've installed Microsoft Antispyware, Spyware blaster, and ZoneAlarm. I run adaware and spybot search&destroy regularly and have also run Ewido, Bitdefender and PandaActive scan. All have reported clear except for Panda which reports 2 infections but does not disinfect. Can you please help me get rid of these last 2? thanks Dave Panda Log Incident Status Location Adware:adware/ideskbar Not desinfected C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\zpmodemnt.sys Adware:adware/swimsuitnetwork Not desinfected C:\WINDOWS\system32\MYDLL.dll

Download Pocket Killbox and unzip it; save it to your Desktop.

Run it, and click the radio button that says Delete a file on reboot. Paste or type

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\zpmodemnt.sys

into the full path of file to delete box and click the red circle with a white cross in it.
The program will ask you if you want to reboot; answer Yes.

Reboot and do a search for C:\WINDOWS\system32\MYDLL.dll
right click on it check the properties and see who wrote it. Then let me know.

Please set your system to show
all files; please see here if you're unsure how to do this.

Here are the directions for creating a zip file For Windows XP:
Using Windows Explorer, locate the first file you want to zip.
Right click on the file and select Send To and Compressed (zipped) Folder.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\MYDLL.dll

Please upload the zip file if you can if you can't then upload the the files without zipping. here

Download Pocket Killbox version 2.0.0.175
http://www.atribune....ads/KillBox.exe
If you already have Killbox first ensure it is this version !.

Then double-click on the killbox.exe program.

When the program is open, select the option labeled Delete on reboot. and paste the following bolded text into the notepad screen.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\MYDLL.dll

Then click ok If your computer does not restart automatically, please restart it manually

Check add and remove programs and remove C:\Program Files\KService

OK. killbox has removed the MYDLL.dll file there is no entry under add remove programs for Kservice. The folder and contents for Kservice do exist in Program Files but there is also no uninstall program available. The service was installed recently as part of the UK SkyByBroadband offering. I have uninstalled this application and disabled the running Kservice. Am I safe in just deleting the Kservice folder and it's contents? please advise next steps. thanks Dave
