Spyware,trojan?

hello there! I am a newbee. I ran several types of checks for virus, spy- etc.wares. Use win 98 SE (dual boot with XP pro also on another drive). Spysweeper (trial v.) report: 1. "Very high" threat= trojan-downloader-mediket, under it: "C:\windows\downloaded program files\eied.inf" (i trace), 2. mirar webband : (a) HKLM\software\microsoft\code store database\distribution units\{33331111-1111-1111-1111-6111111934586\ (8 subtraces) ( HKLM\software\microsoft\code store database\distribution units\{33331111-1111-1111-1111-622221193458}\ (8 subtraces), 3. Sicro dialer–"may hijack your modem…and dial toll Nos.of paid web sites." (1 trace). My spysweeper being a trial one, does not remove or even quarantine malware! Other programmes like cwshredder, spywareblaster, S&D, Avast,etc. are quiet on these culprits. My problem: HOW TO REMOVE THESE? Please make it simple for me!! Thank you for any help. joyban
