Unfortunately i believe I have been hijacked by SpyTrooper. I performed all the usual scans with Ad-aware, counterspy, cwshredder, stinger, spybot search and destroy, and various anti-virus software (symantec etc).
This was the first time I had done this in a long time, so the list of junk was long. I think I removed most of it - however I cannot get rid of the program which captures control of my IE and redirects me to a web page that recommends downloading SpyTrooper.
Please, please help! - Thank you so much!!!
