I recently did a clean install of Windows XP Pro slipstreamed with SP2 onto a new HDD. I also reloaded all of my software. I get a random executable that flashes on my task bar at intervals of 5-10 minutes. I'm not sure what it is. There is no label on the taskbar button... just the generic .exe icon. It appears for about 1 second which is not enough time to click it or do anything with it. It is really annoying because it will cause games to minimize while playing. And most important... I don't know what it's doing. I can't find anything with Spybot, Ad-Aware, or NAV. I've taken a peek at Processes and Applications in the Task Manager. I don't find anything recognizable. So, I ran HijackThis to see if someone here could identify anything unusual. Thanks.

I appreciate you taking a look at it. I used a link to sysinfo.org to run down the startup items in my MSCONFIG. I found three entries that had hidden info. I'm hoping that fixed it. I did it late last night and haven't been home to check it. Now, I just need to run down what those files are and where they are hidden. At least I have them disabled for now. I wanted to explore every possibility. Thanks again for checking my log.
