You know what probably caused that, or rather, what can and usually will cause that, is Windows updating and/or Microsoft application installations. Now, thats not to say you shouldnt update... by any means.. just that when you update or install anything microsoft, if you'll notice, alot of your previous settings (depending upon application) will return to there default settings.

i understand what your saying, but my internet still times out after roughly 10 minutes of use. do you know of any other settings that might have been changed?

Thats a modem setting. DHCP.. dynamic IP ..go to your modem settings page and set the lease time to 200days 20hours 50min..etc..

it was previously set to 0 wich it says in () means 1 day. i changed it to 99999minutes and it reverted it to 34463 minutes. im guessing thats how many minutes are in a day. i will be away untill satuday so try and think of some more ideas while im gone.

is it still disconnecting every 10 minutes or so? also when you get a chance would you run hijack this again and post the log.

i wouldnt say im disconected. my internet explorer times out and i have to restart my computer to surf the web again.

maby i didnt make this clear.... MY INTERNET IS NOT FIXED WHEN I CONNECT TO THE MEDEM DIRECTLY! in other words... ITS NOT THE ROUTER'S FAULT! sorry dont take that personal but im just going crazy without internet on a fast computer. ...that isnt healthy is it?
