Hello,
I have been seeing unwanted popups. One from winfixer, "Please download Winfixer 2005", One from AnitSpyWare "Please download WinAnitVirus Pro 2005", One that looks like a Windows I.E. blue question Box "Your computer is running slower than normal, please click here to scan". I did not click ok for any of these but they keep popping up. I use McAfee Virus scan (no results) and firewall, Ad-aware, spybot but have found nothing. I am also behind a hardware router. I downloaded the host file from Mvps.org and it appears that winfixer may be stopped but not the other popups. I did on online scan at Panda but it closes before I can finish. It showed 4 viruses detected and cleaned and one spyware program but I don't know which one and it was not disinfected.
