Yes, enable System Restore.

Reboot Safe Mode and try the rest of the fix. If those aren't listed to end task on, just keep going.

I suspect with Bett.exe still running I can expect browser windows opening soon…..
Other than that the PC is running as it has all week.

Unable to merge info/ not reg script…..
Reboot and startup in MSDOS mode or Command Prompt only. You'll have to use the F8 key.

Go here:
C:\Program Files\tcsr\bett.exe <–Delete this file

Go Here:
C:\Program Files\tcsr <–Delete Folder

If this doesn't work, do you have another user account to login as?

HKCU <–Means Current User. So this might only load when you login. Try another user like administrator if available and delete the file and folder.

Didn't see an option for booting to DOS, I think that ended with W98…….
Not my PC so have no other logon entries… Suppose I could try to make one as an administrator but it being WM I think Bett would cross over….
If I don't get an answer from Trend Micro's help desk I may just leave Spybots "Tea Timer" running although it's not a good option as the PC owner is an easily confused novice with a weak "NO" finger which is why I have it in the fifst place.
Thanks for trying.
