Hello Everybody,
For some reason my pc has become extremely slow in the past 2 weeks, it takes at least 5 minutes to respond to commands.
Composing emails in MS Outlook is so frustrating as the cursor takes forever to show and it also takes forever for my emails to come into my inbox or to go out of my outbox.

Browsing the internet also takes forever as the pages don't load fast enough and sometimes freezes up.

I have tried absolutely everything I can think of. All the online virus scan and the ones I have installed on my pc say I'm clean, but I know there is something wrong somewhere and I just don't know what or what other steps to take to try and get my pc back to normal.

I have used Adaware professional, Spybot, Spyware blaster, C Cleaner, About Buster, Dll Compare, HS Remove, Kill2Me, Stinger, VX2 Finder, ADS Spy, CWShredder, Microsoft Antispy. I have also run Trend Micro online scan and Bit Defender online scan and they all say I'm clean.

Below is my HJT log, I was hoping someone in here might go through it and tell me what might be wrong. Please any help will be greatly appreciated. :(

Thanks in advance.

We're killing them one at a time, but we're getting there

click Start> Run> type in CMD tap enter. Copy/Paste the following into command prompt:

sc delete Slave (tap enter.)

At the command prompt: type exit.

Run hijackthis. Hit None of the above, Click Do a System Scan Only. Put a Check in the box on the left side on these:

O23 - Service: RA Server (Slave) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\Slave.exe (file missing)

Close ALL windows and browsers except HijackThis and click "Fix checked"

Empty Recycle Bin

Reboot and "copy/paste" a new log file into this thread.
Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.

If you dont have these three programs I would recommend that you get them. Spywareblaster, Spywareguard and IESPY AD. They will add 1000's of sites to your resticted zone and block some hijacks from happening. I also have a FREE FIREWALL and FREE ANTI VIRUS if you need one.

It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system.

Keep your system up to date and run Adaware & Spybot, once a week works, and hopefully you will be ok from here on. Both are available below.

Safe Surfing. :D

You're more then welcome.
Glad we were able to help

Peace be with you :wavey:
