I wondered if anyone has ever run across this before. When I visit tvguide.com\listings my CPU usage will gradually climb until it reaches %100. I first noticed this on Monday when my fan kicked into high gear while browsing. It starts low (around 2%) then slowly climbs until it reaches %100 (approx 5 min.) and of course my fan is running full speed at this point. I disabled Java Scripting in one of my many troubleshooting attempts and this stopped whatever was causing the problem. I even reinstalled Flash Player and am considering repairing IE however it's only on this 'one' site! Could this be a spyware issue? I cleared all my temp internet files (select all/delete) and it made no difference. I have no virus problems (have done scans) and other than this the system runs cherry. I have never run into this before. Maybe it's bad script on the site? I hope! I haven't got a clue. Any suggestions? Comments? I don't download and no other changes to my computer in months, software, hardware, etc.. Thanks, Dave
