New member brianwhite72 here; On Mar. 24th 2005 I was infected by Trojan horse from doubleclick.net, found out that advertising.com is their sidekick. If you don't have these in your Restricted Sites and Block Cookies lists, DO IT NOW. FTC has been filing against doubleclick since 2000. They plant cookies whose pixels are all transparent. Got Trojan while visiting eBay, whose "IT Tech's" cannot read plain English. This malware causes all logins to be deleted upon going to the next page; calls shdoclc.dll to install HTTP Error 403 or "Web Site is Unavailable" error messages on other websites. I do not know how to identify Registry keys which call this file, let alone what to delete if I could locate them. Will be posting my HJT log onto the appropriate forum.
