Hello, my situation is rather complicated, none the less, I'll attempt to keep it as short as I can, while still making it understandable. System: 333 Celeron RAM: 320 H/D C:\ 6-gig - at one time was partitioned, but no longer… :rant2:    :( <_< :o  H/D D:\ Slave-1 = 60-G H/D E:\ Slave-2 = 3-G Note: C:\ no longer partitioned, from what I can tell. have only 290mg left on drive. Need to clean the registry, seriously! don't recall when or how partitioned drive's became unpartitioned, only know they're not any longer. Can't see programs that require uninstalling, not visable via install/uninstall. When searching registry, and doing delete after search, then continuing with F3 I got a file with shared DLL's, because the folder stated "SHARED" I was reluctant to delete each and every .dll for fear I'd delete something I shouldn't… Can someone with significant experience in Registry settings please, PLEASE guide me as to what to do in this case? I have no options left, with only 290MG of space left on C:\ drive, I can't even install a registry editor, never mind run it. I need to get as much space back as humanly possible, I'm having problems even runing A/V scan due to no space. So, any help would be seriously appreciated. Thanx in advance. NoTechie
Okay, don't know why I'm not getting anywhere with my question…

But, hey people, I'm desperate!! I really require some assistance
with the topic originally posted.. PLEASE, PLEASE, won't someone
take pity on me and give me some adivce? ;)

I don't know what else I can say to show just how much at this
forums mercy I am…

I would like more than anything to get puter working as close to
optimum as humanly possible, but am at a loss with how to do that
when I have so little space left on C:\ drive.

Yesterday, I deleted as many .tmp and .GID files, as per this site's
information…
http://support.microsoft.com/scid=http://s…cleaningout.asp
Although, admitantly, I was reluctant to delete each folder ending in .tmp
since some of them contained other files, such as W95INF16.DLL, W95INF32.DLL and Plus98.inf, as examples; although they are O/s files I know longer use.

So, I still need my quesiton pertaining to SHARED DLL's answered, and it would
be nice to know if every instance of .tmp file/folder can be safely deleted?

I sincerely hope someone answers my questions soon.
