The same applies to this file as for the Hiden.EXE
I deleted it already, but have been unable to get rid of the Prefetch file.
What are these for? Initializing executables in some way? Are they some kind of interface between the raw executable and the registry?
There also was a HicomD.EXE that I deleted at the same time.
The things that were more obviously suspicious, I have tried to get rid of with varying degrees of success.

Thanks
They were files to start a hidden servie that would protect and re-install the spyware everytime you rebooted.

Open task manager ctrl/alt/del and stop process on this file if running

STUninstall.exe

Ok scan with hijackthis and put a check beside these lines and choose FIX

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =

F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\WINDOWS\System32\Userinit.exe

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [ContextUninstall] C:\WINDOWS\STUninstall.exe

Then reboot to safe mode and delete this file if present

C:\WINDOWS\STUninstall.exe

Then reboot and post a new log. How is it running on reboot?
Here is what I believe will be my last log…. at least for a while!
My computer is very much better.

Can I extend much gratefullness and thanks, you guys are just awesome!!! Every piece of software recommended worked flawlessly and the help was exceedingly helpfull!

Thanks very much again
Best regards
Kwakazaki

If you dont have these three programs I would recommend that you get them. Spywareblaster, Spywareguard and IESPY AD. They will add 1000's of sites to your resticted zone and block some hijacks from happening. I also have a FREE FIREWALL and FREE ANTI VIRUS if you need one.

It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system.

Keep your system up to date and run Adaware & Spybot, once a week works, and hopefully you will be ok from here on. Both are available below.
