Slow Pc And Winupdate02758596 In Startup

Can anyone please help
Machine has started to run very slow and a few minutes after starting get internet explorer has encountered a problem …then send or do not send.

have noticed in startup WINUPDATE02758596 and have tried removing it in HJT but it keeps coming back.

I have ran spybot, full mcafee virus scan, Panda and housecall.

I have installed Trojanhunter but it is already been on 3 hours and is not half way through the scan.

have added HJT log and startup list ..hope someone can help???

Download System Security Suite. Extract it from the zip file into a folder.

Close all Browser and Program Windows and have HijackThis fix the following.
Do this by checking the box beside each and then clicking on Fix checked.

Reboot in SAFE MODE.
Delete the folder(s) listed

C:\Program Files\Windows AdTools
C:\Program Files\Windows TaskAd


Then Clean out temporary files:
click Start | Run | type cleanmgr | OK
Let it scan your system for files to remove.
Make sure Temporary Files, Temporary Internet Files, and Recycle Bin are the only things checked.
Click "OK" to remove them.
Click "Yes" to confirm the deletion.

Hi little eagle…back again
did 1st part as requested in HJT

rebooted in SAFE mode

only folder to delete was C:\Program Files\Windows TaskAd

then went to run cleanmgr enter OK..it started then just sat there for 10 mins with no disk activity….so i clicked on cancel

went into C:\ docs and settings\david\local settings and deleted all folder and files in TEMP directory and cleared out temp internet files

clicked on recycle bin but just got the egg timer, so cancelled that and right clicked on bin and then emptied it…work that time.

rebooted pc and as soon as i had logged onto the net, go message that explorer had encounted and error.

Ran HJT again…see below

Hi
have done all as told…deleting all folders in temp dir etc

have removed winupdate02758596[1].exe

but i am unable to find C:\Program Files\Windows TaskAd…and yes i can see all the the fidden folders and it is not there….have also done a search and it does not pic anything up.

The pc is working fine now..but has still added a log for you to see

I believe is and add service Added by the SPYBOT.CYM WORM!

Go here and run online scans (all), allow them to delete whatever they find:

TrendMicro HouseCall
eTrust AntiVirus Web Scanner

Note any thing that can't be fixed
Reboot when done. Rescan with HJT and post a new log here.
