I suggest you do this:

Run Hijack This again and put a check by these.

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://www.zinmogyhzhebvbcipsdjjqv.com/M0L…jdNm9Kv22_U.htm

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [book send] C:\DOCUME~1\Nic\APPLIC~1\DEFAUL~1\Delete Web Proc.exe

Close ALL windows and browsers except HijackThis and click "Fix checked"

Just to be on the safe side:
Search for and rename Proc.exe to proc.old
If it says it's in use: try ALT/CTRL/DEL all at the same time and end the process for Proc.exe Then try to rename it.

Empty Recycle Bin

Reboot and "copy/paste" a new log file into this thread.
Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.
Hi, I did a search on proc.exe and came up with the following results: Delete Web Proc.exe DELETE WEB PROC.EXE-1D979BAE.pf rnxproc.exe Any of these what you are asking me to change? Did not find proc.exe ( or likeness) running in task manager. Haven't run HJT again, I will wait for your instructions about the 3 results above.
Well, well, well, will you look at that!!! The pesky R1 is finally gone!!! I am posting the lateset log after renaming the delete web proc.exe's to .old. You are a genious!! Please let me know if all is well with the following log & also how to get back my Ad Aware Pro edition that we uninstalled. Thanks again:

I am posting the lateset log after renaming the delete web proc.exe's to .old.

Beings that was the bad guy, I'd go and delete it. As for Ad-Aware, how did you obtain it? Did you buy it online?
I only have the free one myself.

I'm still at work, but should be back online in about 1 hr.
Great, I have deleted the 2 that were web proc. I see that there is now another one that has taken the same lineage as the one we changed, but if I have prob's again, I will know this is the culprit so I will do the same with it. As for the Ad Aware Pro, it was on the comp when I purchased it. Is there a way for me to reinstall it once I have uninstalled it? Please advise. Thanks again for all of your help. I think you guys are amazing to give so much of your knowledge to those of us who have little. If the world had more people like you it would be a much better place. I really appreciate you following me through all of this, as I can see you guys are flooded with questions here. So, I guess the only thing left to bother you about is the reinstallation of the Ad Aware. If it can not be reinstalled, just let me know & I wll go to your link for the other Ad Aware.
Sorry, one other little question. Sometimes I can not see pictures in Outlook email, all I have is a box with a red X in it. is there something wrong with my settings? Thanks

As for the Ad Aware Pro, it was on the comp when I purchased it. Is there a way for me to reinstall it once I have uninstalled it?

You should have received the program from the vendor that you bought the pc from. You might be able to contact Lavasoft if you have the serial number from the program.

Sometimes I can not see pictures in Outlook email, all I have is a box with a red X in it. is there something wrong with my settings?

I have the same issue with Hotmail and my Charter mail. I don't have the answer to that.

I'd like for you to post another HijackThis log.
Hi again, so you are saying I need to reinstall Ad Aware from the disc?
Looks like there are 2 random character paths in there now? Would this be from the delete web proc.exe that has now taken place of the ones we renamed?

Hi again, so you are saying I need to reinstall Ad Aware from the disc?

I don't know about Ad-Aware Pro. You can download Ad-Aware from my signature below.

Download KillBox.zip from here:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/spyware/KillBox.zip
Place it in a folder on your Desktop.

Close ALL windows and Browsers.

Extract KillBox from the zip file and double-click on KillBox.exe to run it.

In the main screen of Pocket KillBox, go to Tools in the top menu bar, and select: Delete Temp Files.

Back at the main screen of KillBox, select the option: Delete on Reboot

In the Full Path of File to Delete box, copy and paste this entry:
C:\DOCUME~1\Nic\APPLIC~1\DEFAUL~1\Delete Web Proc.exe
Press the button with a red circle and a white X.
When asked if you would like to Reboot, select No.

Do the same as above for each of the files that follow, and select No when asked to reboot! Press the button with a red circle and a white X.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Curbmemocastbody\window creative.exe

Finally, in the Full Path of File to Delete, copy and paste the following:
C:\DOCUME~1\Nic\APPLIC~1\CAKEFI~1\rdr type.exe
Press the button with a red circle and a white X.
When asked to Reboot, select Yes!!

Run Hijack This again and put a check by these.

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://njqwlziave.com/M0LFTkxTY1lnzXMEqrhk…jdNm9Kv22_U.asp

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [book send] C:\DOCUME~1\Nic\APPLIC~1\DEFAUL~1\Delete Web Proc.exe

Close ALL windows and browsers except HijackThis and click "Fix checked"

Restart in Safe Mode:
Restart your computer.

Press F8 after the Power-On Self Test (POST) is done. If the Windows Advanced Options Menu does not appear, try restarting and then pressing F8 several times after the POST screen.
Choose the Safe Mode option from the Windows Advanced Options Menu then press Enter.

Double-click My Computer.
Click the Tools menu, and then click Folder Options.
Click the View tab.
Clear "Hide file extensions for known file types."
Under the "Hidden files" folder, select "Show hidden files and folders."
Clear "Hide protected operating system files."
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Do this also if these Temp Folders are part of your OS.

Also in safe mode navigate to the C:\Windows\Temp folder. Open the Temp folder and go to Edit > Select All then Edit > Delete to delete the entire contents of the Temp folder.

Next navigate to the C:\Documents and Settings\(EVERY Listed Profile USER)\Local Settings\Temp folder. Open the Temp folder and go to Edit > Select All then Edit > Delete to delete the entire contents of the Temp folder.

Finally go to Control Panel > Internet Options. On the General tab under "Temporary Internet Files" Click "Delete Files". Put a check by "Delete Offline Content" and click OK. Click on the Programs tab then click the "Reset Web Settings" button. Click Apply then OK.

Empty the Recycle Bin

Reboot and "copy/paste" a new log file into this thread.
Hmmmmm, well did all of the above, step by step & as you can see from my log below, the R1 is still there. I just dont get it! One problem I have encountered since preforming your last request, is that I have had 3 "Internet Esplorer Encountered a Problem…" etc. essentially the equivellent to former Illegal Operations. Why would this be? And what can I do to stop it from happening. It just happened now, but did not force me to close this window. Please advise, thanks again:

Restart your computer, turn it back on.

On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Remove the Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Click Start> My Computer, select the Tools menu and then Folder Options, after the new window appears select the View tab…]
This time select the: Restore Defaults
Select: Apply, and click OK

If you dont have these three programs I would recommend that you get them. Spywareblaster, Spywareguard and IESPY AD. They will add 1000's of sites to your resticted zone and block some hijacks from happening. I also have a FREE FIREWALL and FREE ANTI VIRUS if you need one.

It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system.

Keep your system up to date and run Adaware & Spybot, once a week works, and hopefully you will be ok from here on. Both are available below.

Safe Surfing. :D
Thank you so, so much for sticking with me through all of this. You have no idea how much your help is appreciated. As I said before, the computer is my main means of communicating with those at home. So, a big hug & thankyou for helping me!!!!
