Hello BOBBI, Welcome to TomCoyote forum. If you are still looking for help I will see what I can do. I would like you to follow these direction:

You have the Peper Trojan. It is a very stubborn infection which requires a specific tool to remove. Please follow these instructions in order:

1. Download Newuninst.exe.

2. Run it with an active internet connection.

3. Reboot to finish removing the entries it found.

4. Run the tool a second time (with an active internet connection).

5. Reboot to finish removing the entries it found.

It is possible the Peper removal tool removed some of these items, these are trojans and we will check for them anyway.

Open your Task Manager (Ctrl, Alt, Delete at the same time) then highlite and end process on any of these items that are there:
OyiJe19.exe
oqjbphse
xmlw
dBv6RXj4h
femvrry.exe
mapsdba.exe

Use the following link to enable hidden files for your operating system:
http://www.xtra.co.nz/help/0,,4155-1916458,00.html

Open HijackThis, click on SCAN then check the box in front of these lines:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [oqjbphse] C:\WINNT\system32\femvrry.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [xmlw] C:\WINNT\Registration\xmlw.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [dBv6RXj4h] mapsdba.exe

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows then click on "Fix Checked"

RIGHT click on Start then click on Explore, locate and delete these files if they are there:

C:\WINNT\system32\OyiJe19.exe >>> file

C:\WINNT\system32\femvrry.exe >>> fileC

C:\WINNT\Registration\xmlw.exe >>> file

We need to locate this one: Start, Search, Files and folder. Type and search for:
mapsdba.exe If located, right click and delete it.

Clean Like this: Start, Run type "cleanmgr" without the quotes then ok. Check and remove anything windows locates.

Empty the recycle bin and restart the computer. Surf a bit to ses how it's running, then post a new log. Include your comments. Use the following two links to stay in this thread:

PSkelly,

Excellent insight. I followed your instructions and was happy to see the files gone. BTW, the link you listed to Newuninst.exe is broken. I went to that site and found a Peper fix tool and used it instead. Seemed to do the job. Here's the most recent hijackthis log. Many Thanks.

OK sorry, I should have checked the link. Good job of thinking on your feet. The fix you found did the job, Peper is gone. Your log is clean, if you are running ok, then here is some great information from Tony Klein, Texruss, ChrisRLG and Grinler to help you stay clean and safe online. Good luck.
