I seem to have a small problem with the housekeeping work. Using IE 6, i don't get the option for custom level security settings in Internet options > Security. The only levels I can select are High, Standard, Low and Very Low. The custom button is greyed out. Best regards.

By the way out of curiosity, did you place Microsoft windows update in the trusted zone at anytime. Also you should switch on your Teatimer again. E

Hi Yes, I did put windows update in the trusted zone. The update function was not working, and I think the trusted zone was recommended by MS. Let me know if you advise against… Will activate the Tea Timer. All the best, Tony.

However if you do anything in the registry please be careful. Do aregistry backup. You can mangle a computer totally if you change the wrong key.
