Want to use the tabbed browsing of firefox with internet explorer? Now you can! Maxathon is an IE shell that incorporates tabbed browsing among other things. I use it and it's the one i use. There are 2 drawbacks though :S For some reason, google toolbar doenst work on it. Second, DO NOT install the ucmore toobar. I am pretty sure it contains malware

Hi I am quite happy to here someone uses the MAXTHON(not MAXATHON) Browser as oppose to the firefox. Tabbed browsing the issue here and both offers this option. However after Ive tried firefox I have uninstalled it as it has a tendency to hijack destop shortcut icons with its own. It is a browser hug. If you made the mistake of making it the default browser then there goes your desktop shortcuts to websites you wish to open only with IE browser. Im sure also that it does not contain any malwares because you can easily determine if your still uploading/downloading through activating the network speed by clicking option on the toolbar at the top of the browser then the status bar and clicking show network speed to activate this feature. As soon as you activate this it will display activity on the taskbar at the lower portion of the browser left corner. As with the google toolbar you dont actually need this as features offered by MAXTHON is more than adequate enough( the reason I have not used goole toolbar w/ MAXTHON). If on the other hand you are using gmail you definitely cant open your mails unless you disable the tabbed browsing option. A shortcut can be found at the taskbar, on the lower center left of the browser, by unhlighting the open link in new window. Also a plug in which is very convenient, totally uncomplicated is the RoboForms. Its a password organizer which offers a lot of option. Its like having a very silent albeit w/high initiative personal assistant. Note that Im not an endorser of MAXTHON but the way fire fox is being hyped , man someone has to offer another choice.
